MEQUON, Wis. – It was a senior day to remember for the Concordia Wisconsin men's soccer program on Saturday afternoon. The Falcons shut out long-time rival Dominican 1-0 to send the CUW senior class out of Fitting Field on the right foot. The 1-0 result pushes CUW to 7-3-4 on the year and to 15 points in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) at 15 points.

First through eighth place in the NACC are separated by only five points.

The Falcons found the back of the net early on Saturday when senior Ivan Cuellar (Milwaukee, Wis.) tapped in a cross from senior Miguel Garcia (Batavia, Ill.).

Dominican showed why they are one of the big names within the NACC and had multiple threats throughout the match.

Freshman Jeremy Munoz (Milwaukee, Wis.) picked up his first collegiate shutout with two saves over the Stars.

Saturday marked the first time this season that CUW has shut out a team.

The Falcons look to continue their hunt for a spot in the NACC Tournament on Wednesday at Edgewood.
