HANOVER PARK, Ill. – The CUW women's tennis team finished February play with an 8-1 loss to Wheaton on Saturday evening.

The loss sends CUW to 9-3 on the season.

The lone point of the evening for the Falcons came from freshman Cheyanne Phillips (Morris, Ill.) at No. 3 singles. She sank Bethany Hoogerheide with a 2-6, 7-5, 10-8 victory.

The Falcons will compete again in March on spring break in South Carolina.
