NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The CUW women's tennis team fell in a non-conference matchup on Saturday at No. 27 North Central. The Cardinals collected an 8-1 victory to send the Falcons to 9-10 on the year.
The Falcons put up a fight at No. 3 doubles on Saturday. The team of sophomore Mallory Moen (Neenah, Wis.) and senior Elizabeth Johnson (Hubertus, Wis.) fell in a tiebreaker at 8-7.
Sophomore Ashley Samuta (Glen Ellyn, Ill.) secured a victory at No. 2 singles over Hannah Hougland with a 0-6, 7-5, 10-7 victory.
The Falcons return to action on Saturday against Wisconsin-La Crosse.
