Falcons Cook Through Chaotic Week of Matchups

MEQUON, Wis. – The CUW esports team competed against some fierce competition this week.

Starting off the week, last Friday the Falcon took on Lakeland in a Wisconsin College Rocket League matchup.  In this matchup, the Falcons swept the Muskies with game scores of 5-0, 5-0, and 4-2.  Just three days later, The Falcons took on Western Florida in week two of their META league.  The Falcons took their first loss of the league with scores of 0-3, 4-3, 0-5, and 0-3. 

In their Call of Duty (CoD) league, competed in week seven of their Spring season.  In a matchup with St. Ambrose, the Falcons notched a 3-0 matchup sweep.  They won with scores of 250-127, 6-2, and 3-0.  The Falcons also took a 1-0 victory in their College Call of Duty League in a matchup with Northwood.

The Valorant team took on SNHU in NECC week four action.  They snagged the reverse sweep after losing the first game 9-13.  They won the next two games 13-8 and 13-11 to take the matchup 2-1.

The blue and white split a pair of College Halo League matchups with Akron and Michigan State.  In the first matchup, the Falcons were swept by Akron with scores of 0-1, 37-50, and 249-285.  In their matchup with Michigan State, The Falcons took a 3-0 victory with scores of 250-19, 50-38, and 200-63.

The CUW Smash team competed in their second week of action in a matchup with Sacred Heart.  The flock evened their season up to 1-1 with a 2-1 victory after losing the first game.  The Falcons won the second and third games with scores of 2-0 in both games.

The Rainbow 6 Siege team slit Wednesday and Thursday matchups with CSUDH and UW-Platteville.  In their first matchup with CSUDH, the Falcons were swept with scores of 7-8 and 4-7.  In their matchup with UW-Platteville, the Falcons pulled off the 8-7 victory.
