MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The CUW women's basketball team traveled to Alverno to take on the Inferno in a NACC contest.

The Blue and White got off to a hot start with 21 points in the first quarter which was highlighted by a nine-point performance from senior Reagan Obry (Neenah, Wis.).

The Blue and White followed that up with a pair of 14-point quarters in the second and third and finished with an 18-point quarter to close out the matchup.

The Blue and White brought down 55 rebounds with Obry recording a game-high 13. She finished with a double-double with 15 points.

Senior Lindsey Smitsdorff (Coon Rapids, Minn.) recorded a game-high four blocks and added two assists and one steal.

The flock led by as many as 28 points with just over a minute remaining in the matchup and finished with a score of 67-42.

The Inferno never led in the contest after junior Lily Guerra (Yorkville, Ill.) netted a three-pointer just eight seconds into the first quarter.

The Blue and White head home and will take on IIT on Saturday.
