ADRIAN, Mich. – The fourth-ranked Bulldogs of Adrian defended home ice on Saturday afternoon. The Black and Gold picked up a 12-1 victory to improve to 16-3-2.

The Bulldogs opened the game on a 3-0 run to start Saturday.

Freshman Mason Ausmus (Saline, Mich.) stole the puck for the Falcons and freshman Ben Pizzimenti (Iowa City, Iowa) put the puck in the back of the net off a rebound on sophomore Andrew Malek's (Milwaukee, Wis.) original shot.

Freshman Dolan Gilbert (South Bend, Ind.) recorded 40 saves on the afternoon.

Ben Pizzimenti led the flock with three shots.

No. 4 Adrian held a 52-20 advantage in shots.

The Falcons return to action on Friday against Lawrence for a key NCHA series.
