PLYMOUTH, Wis. – The 2022-23 men's basketball season came to an end on Saturday. The Muskies swam away with a 107-92 victory.
The Muskies took an early lead and never looked back on Saturday. Lakeland pushed the lead to 23 and held a 59-40 advantage at halftime.
A three-point basket from senior Jared Jurss (Sheboygan, Wis.) cut the deficit to 78-70 with 10:36 left but that is as close as CUW could get.
Jared Jurss went off on Saturday for a game-high 31 points and seven assists.
Senior Gabe Pruss (North Fond Du Lac, Wis.) finished one rebound short of a double-double performance with 20 points and nine rebounds.
Senior Grant Karsten (Decatur, Ill.) finished with 17 points.
Freshman Jack Fritz (Columbus, Wis.) posted a career-high 12 points.
Lakeland finished with a season-high 23 three-point baskets and for 57.5 percent.
The Falcons end the season at 8-16 on the year and at 5-11 in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference.
