MEQUON, Wis. – The CUW men's volleyball team picked up the program's first victory over NACC opponent Dominican University on Thursday night.

The Blue and White cruised through the first set with a 25-15 victory. The Falcons hit .286 with eight kills on 21 attempts through the first set.

The second set was tight and saw extra points with a final score of 26-24 in favor of the flock. 

The Stars saw a 22-20 lead down the stretch, but a kill from freshman Ben Kayser (Milwaukee, Wis.) and a service ace from sophomore Lucas Beres (Germantown, Wis.) evened the set at 24. Kayser finished the Stars in set two with an ace.

The third set was neck and neck with a tie at 20. Some untimely errors on the part of Dominican pushed the Falcons to the 25-22 victory.

Kayser led the Blue and White with 11 kills. He added one service ace and three digs.

Sophomore Logan Kebisek (Brookfield, Wis.) recorded 27 assists in the three-setter. He added three kills and a dig.

The Falcons look to extend their win streak next Friday when they take on the Regents of Rockford.
