Women's Golf Opens Up NACC Championships Play

WEST CHICAGO, Ill. – In the opening round of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Championships, the Concordia University Wisconsin women's golf team recorded a total score of 394 strokes, placing them seventh overall. Aurora currently leads the competition.

Senior Elizabeth Montaba (Elkhart Lake, Wis.) was the standout for the Falcons, finishing with a round of 88 strokes, which earned her 19th place. Close behind, junior Shauna Grahn (New Berlin, Wis.) shot a 90, concluding her round with an impressive three consecutive pars on holes 16-18.

Freshman Kierra Hahn (Muscatine, Iowa) and senior Paige Zirbel (De Pere, Wis.) each recorded a score of 108.

The Falcons will return to the course tomorrow at 11 a.m. for round two of the NACC Championships.
