GLENDALE, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin women's tennis team closed the fall season on Wednesday evening. The Falcons fell short at the Milwaukee School of Engineering, 4-3. Concordia Wisconsin closes the fall season at 5-5 and the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference season at 5-4.
Senior Peyton Morgan (Arlington Heights, Ill.) and freshman Ruth Dolde (Fort Wayne, Ind.) won 6-1 at No. 1 doubles.
The Raiders claimed the doubles point with tight victories on courts two and three.
Peyton Morgan pinched Karley Way at No. 1 singles, 6-1, 6-3.
At No. 3 singles, Ruth Dolde downed Gabriella Haensgen, 6-3, 6-3.
Freshman Jeanie Eisen (West Bend, Wis.) topped Bethany Noonan at No. 6 singles, 6-0, 1-6, 6-3.
Concordia Wisconsin clinched a spot in the NACC Tournament in the spring. CUW is one of only two schools to qualify for all 14 NACC Tournaments.
The Falcons return to action in February against Wisconsin-La Crosse.
