MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin women's tennis team fell in the season opener on Friday. In a match that started at Concordia, but finished at Nicolet High School, due to rain, the Pioneers picked up a 7-0 victory.

The Pioneers opened the day securing the doubles point.

Junior Abby Schwartz (Brookfield, Wis.) won the lone set of the day with a 6-4 victory in the first set at No. 4 singles.

 The Falcons look to bounce back on Thursday when they open Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference play against Wisconsin Lutheran.
