WHITEWATER, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin women's volleyball team finished a challenging week against No. 4 Wisconsin-Whitewater and Wisconsin-Stout on Saturday afternoon.
The fourth-ranked Warhawks improved to 10-0 with the 25-14, 25-13, 25-18 victory.
Sophomore Skylar Kumprey (New Berlin, Wis.) led the balanced attack with six kills.
The Blue Devils of Wisconsin-Stout spoiled the weekend finale with a 25-23, 22-25, 21-25, 25-15, 15-10 victory.
For the second match of the day, Skylar Kumprey led the flock with 15 kills, two more than junior Mickenzi Benter (De Pere, Wis.) at 13 kills.
Freshman McKenna Oetzman (Reedsburg, Wis.) dished out 26 assists in the loss.
The CUW serve was lethal in the second match with 13 service aces. Junior Abby Proefrock (Grafton, Wis.) and senior Emma Essex (Hoffman Estates, Ill.) both had three aces.
Noelle Smith was named to the All-Tournament Team.
The Falcons open the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference schedule on Tuesday in the newly renovated R. John Buuck Fieldhouse.
