Box Score HAMMOND, Ind. – The Concordia Wisconsin ACHA Hockey Team picked up a key victory in the Northern Collegiate Hockey League Black Division on Friday night. In a battle of undefeated teams in the conference, the Falcons picked up a 7-3 victory at Purdue Northwest to improve to 5-3 on the year and 3-0 in the NCHL Black Division.
Sophomore Dominic Murano (Milwaukee, Wis.) started the scoring for the Falcons on from off an assist from senior Tommy Cassel (Grafton, Wis.).
Junior Chuck Emme (Glenview, Ill.) then lit the lamp moments later.
Tommy Cassel closed the first-period scoring on the power play with assists to senior Garrett Wilderman (Waukesha, Wis.) and Chuck Emme.
Sophomore Rocco Cicirello (Mequon, Wis.) joined in on the scoring in the second period.
Chuck Emme netted his second goal of the night in the second period off helpers from Garrett Wilderman and Tommy Cassel.
Dominic Murano struck again in the third period off an assist from sophomore Michael Anderson (Mequon, Wis.).
Garrett Wilderman closed the book on the scoring for the Birds off assists from Chuck Emme and Tommy Cassel.
Senior Austin Bartell (New Berlin, Wis.) finished with 43 saves in the victory.
The Falcons close out the home-and-home series on Saturday night against the Pride.
