MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin women's soccer team fell, 0-1, to Milwaukee School of Engineering Saturday evening. The Falcons are now 5-6-3, and 4-3-0 in NACC play.
The sole goal of the game, scored by the Raiders, was in the first four minutes of the contest. What fallowed was a tight battle between the two squads, with the Falcons looking to tie and the Raiders trying to extend their lead.
The CUW offense was powered by freshman
Koffy'e Chappel (Oakland, Calif.). Chappel got off six of the Falcons' 10 shots. Fellow freshman
Gabbie Hetzel (Germantown, Wis.) got off two shots during the match up.
In goal for the Falcons was junior
Kara Claussner (St. Charles, Ill.). Despite letting in one goal, Claussner collected seven saves in 18 shots faced.
The Falcons will travel to Illinois on Wednesday to play Rockford. The conference game is slated to begin at 1 p.m. at Sam Greeley Field in Rockford, Ill.
