ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Concordia Wisconsin women's soccer team picked up a decisive 4-0 victory at Rockford on Wednesday afternoon. The Falcons improve to 6-6-3 on the year with the victory and to 5-3-0 in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference

The Falcons started the scoring in the 24th minute when senior Autumn Snow (Cedarburg, Wis.) curved the ball into the upper-left corner from 25 yards out to start the scoring.

The Falcons added to the lead in the 33rd minute when sophomore Jacey Read (Carbondale, Colo.) tapped in a rebound off a high save from senior Shay Lange (Racine, Wis.).

Junior Lanie Czerkies (Joliet, Ill.) scored the third goal of the first half off a pass from senior Brei Rozmiarek (West De Pere, Wis.) that was deflected by freshman Koffy'e Chappel (Oakland, Calif.).

Koffy'e Chappel showed off her speed in the 72nd minute as she sped past a pair of defenders off a long pass from freshman Gabbie Hetzel (Germantown, Wis.). The assist was the first career assist for the freshman.

Wednesday marked the first time that the Falcons had not allowed a shot in a match since the 10-0 victory over Alverno on Oct. 9, 2021.

The 4-0 result was the seventh shutout of the season for junior Kara Claussner (St. Charles, Ill.).
