MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin women's soccer capped the 2025 regular season with a dominate, 6-1, win over Marian. The Falcons completed the year at 9-7-2 and 8-4 in NACC play. With their success this season, the squad clinched a spot in the conference tournament as the No. 5 seed.

The last time they scored six goals on their own turf, the Falcons defeated Lakeland, 7-1, in the 2023 regular season finale. This also pushes Concordia Wisconsin to 34-7 in the all-time match-up against Marian, going 21-3 at home.

Freshman Koffy'e Chappel (Oakland, Calif.) scored the first goal of the game only eight and half minutes into the game. The fourth goal of the game was off of a free kick by freshman Gabbie Hetzel (Germantown, Wis.). After a Saber foul just outside the box, the Falcons were awarded a free kick. Hetzel took it from the top left corner of the box. After kicking it the ball curved around the Marian defenders, the ball bounced off of the right post into the net. The dramatic goal, was the freshman's second of her career.

The final two goals from CUW came from sophomore Hailey Whittow (Menomonee Falls, Wis.). Whittow, who only scored two goals prior to the game, scored her goals in an eight-minute span. Her first was off a short pass from Chappel just inside the box. Whittow's second was from an error by the Sabers. The sophomore took a corner and as the visitors were trying to kick the ball out of the box, the ball went into the net.
