ACHA Drops 10 Goals on Aurora Again

AURORA, Ill. – For the second-straight night, the Concordia Wisconsin ACHA men's hockey team dropped 10 goals on Aurora. The Falcons improve to 10-6 on the year and 5-1 in the Northern Collegiate Hockey League Black Division with a 10-1 victory at Aurora.

Sophomore Rocco Cicirello (Mequon, Wis.) started the scoring off an assist from sophomore Dominic Murano (Milwaukee, Wis.).

Moments later, senior Andrew Malek (Milwaukee, Wis.) like the lamp off assist from freshman Caden Buenz (Elmhurst, Ill.) and junior Chuck Emme (Glenview, Ill.).

Senior McCarthy Clark (Chicago, Ill.) scored on the power play to lift the lead up.

Aurora scored its lone goal of the night on the power play in the first period.

Chuck Emme struck twice in the second period with Dominic Murano, senior Garrett Wilderman (Waukesha, Wis.) and senior Nolan Judge (Glendale, Ariz.) having the assists.

Rocco Cicirello netted his second goal of the night off a Murano helper.

The Falcons scored four more times in the third period, with Caden Buenz, Chick Emme, Rocco Cicirello and sophomore Evan Neitzel (Oshkosh, Wis.) all finding the back of the net.

Senior Austin Bartell (New Berlin, Wis.) had 24 saves in the victory and junior Ryley Gross (Hazenmore, Saskatchewan) had 16 saves in the third period.

The Falcons return to non-conference action on Friday against MSU-Denver.
