MADISON, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin women's volleyball team concluded their run in the NACC Tournament by falling 2-3 to Edgewood. The Falcons concluded the 2025-26 season 16-3 and 10-3 in conference play. This including going 6-1 at home.

It was a high-pressure match with both teams fighting for a change to play in Conference Tournament Championship. The No. 1 seeded Eagles showed their skill early taking the first set 25-14. The Falcons took a breath after the first set and got ready to take back the game.

This was helped by a four-point uncontested run that included an ace from senior Ashley Habermehl (Brookfield, Wis) and two kills from fellow senior Abby Proefrock (Grafton, Wis.). The Eagles stayed close, only allowing the Falcons to lead by a few points. Habermehl mad a key kill to take the set, 25-23.

The Falcons took the third set in another close battle. The squad took the set off a 5-1 run that pushed the set into extra points. Senior Noelle Smith (Davenport, Iowa) had the kill that gave CUW the 2-1 lead.

Edgewood came back in the fourth to force the fifth set. Using the momentum from the fourth, the Eagles pushed passed the Falcons to take the game.

Leading the team on offense was Habermehl with 14 kills. Proefrock and Smith were right behind her with 12 and 13 respectively. Sophomore McKenna Oetzman (Reedsburg, Wis.) and junior Emily Dickman (Grafton, Wis.) split the role as the Falcons' setter during the match. Oetzman collected 28 assists and Dickman had 18.
