Falcons Race at Parkside Classic

KENOSHA, Wis. - In preparation for next weekend's Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Championships, the Falcons traveled to UW-Parkside, the host venue for the event, to compete in the UW-Parkside Classic against NCAA Division II competition.

Junior Brandon Donahue (Hubertus, Wis.) had an outstanding performance in the 55-meter hurdles, finishing third with a time of 8.59 seconds. Sophomore Zach Wendland (Green Bay, Wis.) followed closely behind in fourth place, posting a time of 8.64 seconds. Also in the hurdles, sophomore Luke Witte (Monroe, Mich.) took sixth with a time of 9.37 seconds.

In the 55-meter dash, sophomore Se'Korrey Thomas (Punta Gorda, Fla.) clocked a time of 6.63 seconds, securing a fourth-place finish. Senior Timmy Brey (Cedarburg, Wis.) also had a strong showing, finishing fourth in the mile with a time of 4:26.08.

Sophomore Isaiah Lubner (Campbellsport, Wis.) claimed gold in the 800-meter, crossing the line in 1:57.39, while senior Jaden Schultz (Havana, Ill.) took sixth with a time of 2:00.54.

Meanwhile, freshman Lucas Mathes (Brillion, Wis.) took second in the triple jump with a leap of 12.84 meters, while freshman Corban Jackson (Green Bay, Wis.) followed in third with a distance of 12.22 meters. Sophomore Aaron Klug (Arlington, Va.) also contributed a fourth-place finish, jumping 11.93 meters.

In the long jump, Wendland earned another solid result, taking fourth with a jump of 6.35 meters. Freshman Kam'Ron Pierre (Green Bay, Wis.) finished seventh with a mark of 5.52 meters. Wendland also excelled in the high jump, claiming first place with a clearance of 1.85 meters.

In the shot put, junior John Kutner (Muskego, Wis.) finished fifth with a throw of 12.04 meters, while freshman Hayden Kettman (Beecher, Ill.) placed sixth with a throw of 11.96 meters. Kutner also led the Falcons in the weight throw, securing a sixth-place finish with a throw of 13.51 meters.

Senior Jacob Couillard (Kingsford, Mich.) claimed second in the pole vault, clearing a height of 3.05 meters.

Next weekend, the Falcons will return to UW-Parkside for the NACC Championships, where they finished seventh last year with 44 points.
