MEQUON, Wis. – On Saturday, the Falcons faced their final ranked opponent of the 2024-25 regular season: the 12th-ranked Bulldogs of Adrian College. The Bulldogs won the weekend series 6-1. Concordia Wisconsin is now 11-12-0 on the year and 6-10-0 in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association.

Adrian struck first on Saturday with a goal late in the first period and scored a shorthanded goal in the final seconds of the period to take a 2-0 lead into the locker room.

The Black and Gold scored on the power play and another shorthanded goal in the second frame.

The Bulldogs started the third period scoring with a goal at the 6:30 mark.

Three minutes later, the Falcons lit the lamp with junior Derek Humphreys (Spokane, Wash.) scoring off passes from sophomore Alex Ochitwa (Prince George, British Columbia) and freshman Levi Carter (Keremeos, British Columbia).

Adrian ended the scoring with a late power-play goal.

The Falcons' shots tally grew period by period but were outshot on Saturday, 51-34.

Freshman Cameron Hrdlicka (Calgary, Alberta) had 45 saves against Adrian.

Sophomore Matt Koepke (Vernon Hills, Ill.) finished with four blocks.  

The Falcons are entering the final weekend of the regular season in a five-way race for the final four spots in the Harris Cup Playoffs. They will play at Marian on Friday night.
