DES MOINES, Iowa – The Concordia Wisconsin women's track & field team had a successful Friday at the world-famous Drake Relays. The Falcons competed in the 4x100-meter relay in Iowa.
The Falcons ran with the team of senior Maya Hielscher (Macomb, Mich.), freshman Jacey Read (Carbondale, Colo., freshman Natiya Ballard (Stoughton, Wis.) and senior Sabrina Moore (Park Ridge, Ill.) against schools from NCAA Divisions I, II and III and the NAIA.
Concordia finished in 26th place with a season-best time of 49.46.
The Falcons close the weekend on Saturday at St. Norbert.
