MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin men's tennis team grounded the Green Knights of St. Norbert in a battle of two undefeated teams in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference. The Falcons soared to a 7-0 victory to improve to 2-0 in the NACC and 7-7 on the year. St. Norbert falls to 2-1 in NACC play and 4-10 on the year.
Senior Landon Sather (Fort Wayne, Ind.) and senior Joshua Klement (Muskego, Wis.) cruised to a 6-1 victory at No. 1 doubles to start the day.
Freshman Ryan Bilan (Greendale, Wis.) and junior Dylan Nadolski (Menomonee Falls, Wis.) earned the doubles point with a 6-4 victory at No. 3 doubles.
Freshman Hayden Latus (Waukesha, Wis.) brought out the brooms at No. 2 singles with a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Jackson Harpt.
Landon Sather sliced up Brett Daniels at No. 1 singles, 6-0, 6-1.
At No. 5 singles, Joshua Klement cruised to a 6-0, 6-3 victory against Brian Coulter.
Sophomore Renan Revite (São Bernardo do campo, Brazil ) ruined Charlie Keller's day at No. 3 singles with a 7-5, 6-1 victory.
Ryan Bilan bounced Nolan Pearson at No. 4 singles, 6-2, 6-3.
Dylan Nadolski downed Joe Pellechia at No. 6 singles, 6-3, 6-2.
The Falcons return to action on Sunday for another key NACC battle in Chicago at Illinois Tech.
