CHICAGO – The Concordia Wisconsin men's tennis team wrapped up a busy weekend of Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference tennis on Sunday afternoon at Illinois Tech. The Scarlet Hawks secured a 7-0 victory on Sunday to defend the home court.
The loss sends Concordia to 7-8 on the year and to 2-1 in the conference.
The team of senior Landon Sather (Fort Wayne, Ind.) and senior Joshua Klement (Muskego, Wis.) collected a 6-2 victory at No. 1 doubles for the lone victory of the day.
Landon Sather forced a third set at No. 1 singles, with a 6-3 victory in the second set.
Freshman Hayden Latus (Waukesha, Wis.) took the first set at No. 2 singles, 7-5.
The Falcons look to bounce back on Saturday against Concordia Chicago.
