Women's Golf Duo Posts Career-Best Day

MONMOUTH, Ill. – The Concordia Wisconsin women's golf team competed on Sunday, the second day of the Monmouth Fighting Scot Spring Invite. The Falcons dropped 26 strokes from Saturday to finish in fourth place at 794 strokes. Spaulding won the competition with 650 strokes.

Junior Shauna Grahn (New Berlin, Wis.) had her best round of her career with 84 strokes to jump into the top-10 in 10th place at 175 strokes. She dropped seven strokes from her Saturday scorecard.

Senior Elizabeth Montaba (Elkhart Lake, Wis.) finished in 11th place at 176 strokes after a Sunday round of 90 strokes.

Freshman Kierra Hahn (Muscatine, Iowa) also posted her best round of her career with 97 strokes on Sunday. She finished in 21st place at 214 strokes after improving by 20 strokes on Sunday.

Senior Paige Zirbel (De Pere, Wis.) improved by three strokes on Sunday with a round of 113 strokes to finish in 23rd place at 229 strokes.

The Falcons will compete at Edgewood on Friday.
