MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia University Wisconsin Athletics Department, under the leadership of Dr. Rob Barnhill, has announced the hiring of Stephanie Fuller as the new dance head coach and athletic support coordinator.
"I am pleased to announce the hiring of Stephanie Fuller, who will serve as the Athletic Support Coordinator," said Dr. Rob Barnhill. "Stephanie will oversee the day-to-day administrative support needs of the department, as well as being our Spirit Squad Coordinator/Head Dance Coach. We were delighted to have someone of Stephanie's background apply for the position, and her skill set allowed us to make some strategic changes in the way we operate. This hire will allow our dancers and cheerleaders to have a full-time, on-campus point of contact and should elevate our game day experience and competitive culture within our spirit squads. Stephanie will also have the opportunity to build upon the foundation laid by those before her in the administrative support area as she provides vital services for our department."
Fuller comes to Concordia from the University of Tennessee.
"I am very excited for this opportunity," said Stephanie Fuller. "I have spent my life surrounded by athletics, and I am excited to be working and coaching at Concordia University, Wisconsin."
She started coaching dance in 2019 at the B.inspired Dance Studio.
Fuller left coaching to obtain a Master's in Sport Psychology and Motor Behavior from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. In Tennessee, Stephanie administered mental performance services to a high school dance team, a college cheer team, and a college dance team.
She has training in Pom, Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, and Ballet. She is excited to combine her knowledge of mental performance with her passion for dance.
Her goal is to teach the team that skill can be taught and learned, excellence outweighs perfection, and anything is achievable with motivation and self-belief.
