Men’s Basketball Celebrates NABC Honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced its academic honors on Thursday afternoon. The NABC released its Honors Court and Team Academic Excellence Award.

The Falcons boasted a 3.22 grade-point average. The Blue and White are claiming the honor for the 10th-straight season.

This award recognizes outstanding academic achievement by a team with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better for the 2024-25 season.

The NABC also announced its Honors Court on Monday. The Falcons landed eight selections on the Honors Court.

The senior trio of Jonah Jurss (Sheboygan, Wis.), senior Zach Leahy (West Dundee, Ill.) and Adam Bruins (Oak Creek, Wis.) are securing the honor for the second straight year.

Junior Casey Verhagen (Sheboygan, Wis.), junior Jack Fritz (Columbus, Wis.), junior Logan Landers (Cedarburg, Wis.), junior Sean Earley (Hickory Hills, Ill.) and junior Will Bauer (New Berlin, Wis.) are all claiming the honor for the first time.
