WAUKESHA, Wis. – The Concordia University Wisconsin men's tennis team fell in a close 3-4 match against Carroll University. This was the Falcons first dual match of the 2025-26 season.
 
It came down to the doubles point with both team winning three points in the singles matches. That is were the Pioneers have the edge, taking two of the three doubles matches. Renan Revite and Murilo Zeni won their doubles match, 6-4.
 
Revite and Zeni then went on to win their singles matches. Zeni defeated Jay Kubota in a comeback victory of 2-6, 6-2, 6-4. Revit beat Ryan Labelle in three sets as well, with the final scores being, 7-5,2-6, 6-4.
 
Gustavo Funo was the final Falcon to win his singles match. Funo defeated David Eman in dominate fashion with 6-3, 6-0, wins.
 
The Falcons are set to return to the courts on Monday, Sept. 22 at home against Lawerence. The match will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the CUW Tennis Courts.
