MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin women's tennis team opened the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) portion of the schedule on Wednesday. The Green Knights of St. Norbert snuck away with a 5-2 victory to send the Falcons to 0-2.
Freshman Abigail Haley (Frohna, Mo.) and sophomore Katelyn de Guzman (Belvidere, Ill.) picked up a 6-3 victory at No. 3 doubles on Wednesday.
The Falcons claimed the doubles point with freshman Taylor Weiner (Bakersfield, Calif.) and junior Payton Steward (Appleton, Wis.) snagging a 6-4 victory at No. 2 doubles.
Abigail Haley cruised to a 6-1, 6-2 victory at No. 4 singles over Irene Multhauf to take a 2-0 lead.
After SNC won at No. 5 singles, the other four matches went to a third set. The Green and Gold won all of the swing battles to claim the victory.
Concordia looks to bounce back on Friday at Wisconsin Lutheran.
