MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) released its Student-Athlete of the Week honor for track and field on Wednesday morning. The league's athletic communications professionals agreed that Isaiah Lubner stood above the rest and was voted the Student-Athlete of the Week for Men's Track.
A junior from Campbellsport, Wisconsin, Isaiah Lubner is claiming his first honor of the season. This is the sixth time that he has been honored by the conference.
Lubner led the pack in the mile race with a winning time of 4:22.27, for the best time of his career. Lubner's time ranks 40th on the NCAA Division III performance list.
He also helped the Falcons place second in the 4x400 meter relay at 3:33.35.
Jacob Klitzke of St. Norbert was the Field Athlete of the Week.
Lubner and the Falcons return to action on Saturday at Aurora.
