ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Concordia Wisconsin ACHA Hockey team faced a tough test on the road on Saturday night at St. Thomas. The Tommies are ranked second in the Central Region and fifth in ACHA Division II. St. Thomas opened the weekend with a 6-1 victory.
The Purple and White struck first on Friday with a goal in the first period and scored two more in the second period.
The Falcons scored their lone goal of the evening off the stick of senior McCarthy Clark (Chicago, Ill.) to close the second period.
The Tommies added three more to the scoreboard in the third period.
Senior Austin Bartell (New Berlin, Wis.) finished the game with 30 saves.
The Falcons look to level the weekend on Saturday morning.
