WASHINGTON, Pa. — The Concordia University Wisconsin men's lacrosse team remained undefeated with a 22–3 victory over Washington & Jefferson in the programs' first-ever meeting on Saturday, opening CUW's Western Pennsylvania spring trip. The Falcons improved to 4–0 overall.
The 22-goal output marked CUW's first 20-plus goal game since a 22–9 win over Edgewood last season and its largest margin of victory since a 19-goal win over Northland in 2025.
CUW surged ahead with six unanswered goals in the opening quarter. Freshman
Kaleb Weikel (Andover, Minn.) scored less than a minute in, and junior
Bryce Petersen (Waukesha, Wis.) added three straight for his third hat trick of the season. Weikel and freshman
Marko Adamovic (Park Ridge, Ill.) later scored unassisted tallies as the Falcons built a 7–1 lead after one — their second consecutive game with seven first-quarter goals.
The Falcons added four more in the second, including Weikel's third to complete his hat trick, and took an 11–3 advantage into halftime. CUW shut out the Presidents in the second half while scoring 11 more (3 in the third, 8 in the fourth). Freshman
Will Webber (Buffalo, Minn.) netted four in the final period for his first career hat trick, while sophomore
Griffin Simons (Palatine, Ill.) and freshman
Brennen Loftus (Roselle, Ill.) each scored their first collegiate goals — Loftus' coming man-down.
Peterson led all players with five goals and two assists (7 points). Weber finished with four goals, and Weikel added three. CUW outshot W&J 62–25 (37–12 on goal), with Weber posting game highs of 10 shots and seven on cage.
In faceoffs, senior
Frank Trewyn (Mukwonago, Wis.) went 9-for-13 with a team-best seven ground balls, while junior
Jaxon Niemeyer (Tinley Park, Ill.) was 8-for-10. Defensively, freshmen
Zeki Wacker (Monument, Colo.) and
Grant Snider (Waukesha, Wis.) each caused two turnovers. Sophomore goalkeeper
Nolan O'Malley (Chicago, Ill.) made nine saves to improve to 3–0.
CUW concludes its spring trip Tuesday at Allegheny. Opening faceoff is set for 1 p.m. ET at Frank B. Fuhrer Field in Meadville.
