MADISON, Wis. – The Falcons completed a perfect weekend on Sunday with a second 7-0 victory on the Weekend. Today's test was the Eagles of Edgewood. The Falcons passed the test in flying colors with a 7-0 victory to improve to 11-5 on the year and 2-2 in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference.
Sophomore Hayden Latus (Waukesha, Wis.) and freshman Murilo Zeni (Curitiba, Brazil) zipped up the Eagles at No. 1 doubles, 6-2.
Sophomore Ryan Bilan (Greendale, Wis.) and junior Kristopher Greenhaw (Huntington Beach, Calif.) grounded the Eagles on court two, 6-2.
At No. 3 doubles, freshman Renan Botelho (Itatiba, Brazil) and freshman Gustavo Funo (Sao Jose dos Campos, Brazil) cruised to a 6-1 victory.
Hayden Latus beat Ryder Broadbridge at No. 1 singles, 6-2, 6-3.
Murilo Zeni kept the sweep alive at No. 2 singles, with a 6-4, 4-6, 10-7 victory over Jon Olafsson.
Gustavo Funo folded Andrew Hoffmann at No. 3 singles, 7-5, 6-1.
Ryan Bilan bested Justin Hutchcroft at No. 4 singles, 6-3, 6-2.
At No. 5 singles, Renan Botelho bounced Marek Woytasik, 6-0, 6-2.
Kristopher Greenhaw crushed Ryan Casey at No. 6 singles, 6-1, 6-2.
The Falcons return to NACC play on Saturday at Illinois Tech.
