MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia University Wisconsin men's lacrosse team celebrated Senior Day in dominant fashion, defeating Edgewood 21-6 at home. With the win, the Falcons extend their winning streak to nine games and improve to 15-1 overall and 9-1 in conference play.

CUW remains undefeated against the Eagles, improving to 6-0 in the all-time series dating back to the program's first meeting in 2021.

Sophomore
Jackson Knutson (Roseville, Minn.) opened the scoring with an unassisted goal less than five minutes into the contest. Edgewood responded with two unanswered goals to briefly take the lead, but freshman
Brayden Wilson (Pueblo West, Colo.) evened the score with 1:05 remaining in the first quarter.

The Falcons seized control in the second quarter, outscoring the Eagles 8-2. Junior
Bryce Petersen (Waukesha, Wis.) sparked the surge with a go-ahead goal, igniting a six-goal run. Petersen recorded a first-half hat trick during the stretch as CUW carried momentum into halftime.

CUW continued to dominate after the break, scoring eight unanswered goals in the third quarter to take an 18-4 lead into the final period. The Falcons added two more early in the fourth before Edgewood found the net for the first time in the second half. Each team added one goal late to close out the contest.

Petersen led all scorers with five goals—his third five-goal performance of the season—and recorded his 10th hat trick. Knutson also contributed five, while freshman
Kaleb Weikel (Andover, Minn.) added four goals. Wilson and Meier contributed three and two goals, respectively. Sophomore
Jack Bradley (Yucson, Ariz.) and freshman Marko Adomaitis (Park Ridge, Ill.) each scored once. Knutson also led the team with four assists, while Wilson added three.

Meier paced the Falcons on the ground with 10 of the team's 49 ground balls, followed by Trewyn with eight. Trewyn was dominant at the faceoff X, winning 15-of-21 draws, while junior
Jaxon Niemeyer (Tinley Park, Ill.) went 3-for-6 and freshman
Nathan Beyer (Duluth, Minn.) added two wins in three attempts.

In goal, sophomore
Nolan O'Malley (Chicago, Ill.) earned the win, making nine saves while allowing four goals to improve to 13-1 on the season. Freshman
Connor Jackson (Potomac, Md.) played the final 8:19, recording one save and allowing two goals.

The Falcons will close out the regular season on Wednesday at MSOE. Opening faceoff is set for 7 p.m. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
