CHICAGO – The 2025-26 season came to an end on Thursday for the Concordia Wisconsin women's tennis team. The Falcons fell in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Tournament Semifinals at Illinois Tech.
The Scarlet Hawks started the day with a 6-2 victory at No. 1 doubles.
Sophomore Ruth Dolde (Fort Wayne, Ind.) and freshman Samatha Mudra (Hartford, Wis.) put up a fight at No. 3 doubles but fell 6-7 to allow IIT to clinch the doubles point.
Sophomore Katelyn de Guzman (Belvidere, Ill.) and freshman Abigail Haley (Frohna, Mo.) were leading 6-5 at No. 2 doubles.
Illinois Tech claimed victories on courts one, two and four to clinch the match.
Abigail Haley was leading Thea Salcedo at No. 3 singles before the match was called.
The Falcons finish the year at 7-15 on the year.
The Scarlet Hawks will battle Edgewood on Sunday in the NACC Tournament Finals.
