Softball Secures Two NFCA All-Region Honors

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) released its 2026 NCAA Division III All-Region Teams on Friday afternoon, and Concordia University Wisconsin was proudly represented by two of the most electric, impactful, and downright special players to wear the Falcon uniform. Junior Jenna Shadoski earned First Team All-Region honors, while senior Maggie Plahmer claimed Second Team recognition.

These honors not only celebrate elite performance, but they shine a spotlight on two student-athletes who have become the heartbeat of the program, game-changers in every sense of the word.

Jenna Shadoski

A junior centerfielder from Janesville, Wisconsin, Jenna Shadoski adds her first NFCA All-Region honor to what has been nothing short of a jaw-dropping 2026 campaign. To call her "spectacular" almost feels like an understatement.

Shadoski didn't just lead the nation in stolen base percentage, she was flawless, a perfect 46-for-46. In an era where perfection is nearly impossible, she made it look routine. Her 46 stolen bases rank ninth nationally, while her 1.07 stolen bases per game sits 15th, numbers that only begin to tell the story of her impact.

The pride of Janesville was everywhere offensively, ranking 11th in the nation in runs (58), 16th in runs per game (1.35), and 23rd in hits (66). Every time she stepped onto the field, she was a threat to change the game instantly, whether it was with her speed, her bat, or her relentless defense.

She finished the season with 66 hits, 58 runs, 26 RBI, 14 walks, 11 doubles, five triples, and two home runs, all while rewriting the record books. Shadoski shattered the Concordia Wisconsin single-season records for stolen bases and runs scored, while also setting a new NACC standard for stolen bases in a season.

Quite simply, seasons like this don't come around often. Shadoski wasn't just one of the best players in the region, she was must-watch every single game.

"All glory to God for all this success he has given me this year," said Shadoski. "I am grateful to everyone who supported me this year and helped me achieve all the goals I have had since I was a little girl."

Maggie Plahmer

A senior first baseman from Slinger, Wisconsin, Maggie Plahmer earns her first NFCA All-Region honor, capping off a career defined by consistency, toughness, and an unwavering presence in the middle of the lineup.

At first base, she was nothing short of perfect, literally. She did not commit a single error all season, finishing with a flawless fielding percentage while serving as the defensive anchor the Falcons leaned on inning after inning. Her reliability wasn't just impressive, it was foundational to the team's success.

At the plate, she was just as dangerous. The sensational slugger from Slinger hit .366 on the season, pairing power with clutch hitting in the biggest moments. She totaled 41 hits, 32 RBI, 26 runs, 13 doubles, 13 walks, and a team-best four home runs, consistently delivering when the Falcons needed her most.

But numbers alone don't fully capture what Plahmer meant to this team. She was the steady force, the tone-setter, and the player teammates trusted without hesitation. Her presence elevated everyone around her, and her impact will be felt long after her final game in a Falcon uniform.

I am incredibly honored and grateful to be selected," said Plahmer. "I have worked hard all season and to have my work be recognized is an honor. I would like to thank all my coaches, teammates, and family, this would not be possible without them."
