MEQUON, Wis. – On Tuesday morning, the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) released its final Student-Athlete of the Week honors of the year for outdoor women's track & field. Emma Ahrens was voted as the NACC Student-Athlete of the Week for women's track by the league's athletic communications professionals.
A junior from Stephens City, Virginia, Emma Ahrens is securing the honor for the first time this season and the eighth time in her career. This is now the fourth time that she has collected the honor for track
At St. Francis, Ahrens punched her ticket to the NCAA Championships with a career-best time in the 10000-meter run with a winning time of 35:38.04.
At La Crosse, she also posted a winning time of 17:18.59 in the 5000-meter run.
Ahrens returns to action on Thursday at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
