MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia University Wisconsin Women's Basketball team battled through a competitive 2025-26 campaign, earning a spot in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Tournament and showcasing resilience throughout the season.
The Falcons concluded the year with a 9-16 overall record and a 10-8 mark in NACC play, finishing seventh in the conference standings and securing a postseason berth.
Concordia earned its first victory of the season on November 21, defeating Greenville 56-48. The win served as an early building block for a team that continued to improve throughout conference play.
As the season progressed, the Falcons established themselves as a competitive force within the NACC. Their regular season concluded on a high note with a 62-52 victory over Marian, providing momentum heading into postseason action.
The Falcons advanced to the NACC Tournament and faced second-seeded St. Norbert in the conference quarterfinals. Despite a determined effort, Concordia's season came to an end with a 60-42 setback against the Green Knights.
Leading the way all season was junior standout
Andrea Butterbrodt. A consistent presence on both ends of the floor, Butterbrodt played and started all 24 games for the Falcons. She paced the team with 260 points while shooting 39.8 percent from the field and added 133 total rebounds. For her outstanding efforts, Butterbrodt earned All-NACC First Team honors.
The Falcons also excelled in the classroom. Butterbrodt and Gracie McNabb were both recognized as CSC Academic All-District selections, highlighting their commitment to success both academically and athletically.
The Falcons demonstrated growth and determination throughout the 2025-26 season, while continuing to build a foundation for future success as the team focuses on the upcoming 2026-27 season.
