MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia University Wisconsin women's golf team completed the 2025-26 season with steady improvement from the fall to the spring, highlighted by a runner-up finish during the spring campaign and another solid performance at the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championships.
The Falcons opened the fall season on August 29-30 at the Firebird Fall Classic. Concordia placed 15th as a team with a score of 377 strokes. Shauna Grahn paced the Falcons in the season opener, finishing 60th individually with a two-round total of 176 strokes.
Concordia continued its fall schedule by competing at the NACC Women's Golf Championships, where the Falcons finished fifth with a team score of 1,066 strokes. Alexa Cour led the way for Concordia, tying for 18th place against the conference's top golfers while helping the Falcons secure a top five conference finish.
The Falcons carried that momentum into the spring season, opening play at the New College Spring Women's Invitational. Concordia turned in its best team performance of the year, finishing second overall with a score of 1,231 strokes. Cour continued her strong season by leading the Falcons with a seventh-place individual finish.
Concordia concluded the 2025-26 season at the Viking Spring Invite, placing eighth with a team score of 718 strokes. Cour once again led the Falcons, carding a 165 to finish 11th individually in the season finale.
The Falcons' second-place finish at the New College Spring Women's Invitational showcased the team's progress throughout the year, while a fifth-place finish at the NACC Championships demonstrated Concordia's competitiveness within the conference. With valuable experience gained across both the fall and spring schedules, the Falcons will look to build on the successes of the 2025-26 campaign in the seasons ahead.
