She is in her first year as an assistant coach with the field hockey program.
During the 2020-21 year, Samantha Dunn worked in the Concordia Wisconsin Athletic Communication department as a Graduate Assistant.
Dunn has worked in the athletic communications office for four years while obtaining her undergraduate in Sport Entertainment Business. During her time as a student worker her emphasis was on photography and videography.
During her time as a falcon, Dunn was given the opportunity to work in Atlanta, Georgia, for Super Bowl 53 where she worked at the Super Bowl Live Experience. Continuing on to March, she was able to work in-stadium at the 2019 March Madness Finals in Minneapolis, Minnesota. To finish out her junior year, Dunn volunteered for the JJ Watt Charity Classic down in Houston, Texas.
Fast forward to 2020, Dunn was invited to work at the Forbes Luxury Summit in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she was able to be part of the hospitality world. Before the pandemic in March, Dunn volunteered for the Vince Lombardi Award of Excellence which took place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Throughout her undergraduate at Concordia, she was a four-year starting midfielder for the women’s field hockey team. She was also part of the first recruiting class for coach Schoessow. Dunn was a three-time All-SAA selection, obtaining First-Team for the 2017 and 2018 season and Second-Team for the 2019 season. She was also a three-time Longstreth/NFHCA Great Lakes All-Region selection, obtaining Second-Team selection in the 2017 and 2019 season, with a First-Team selection in the 2018 season.
Dunn totaled 63 games played for Concordia with 19 goals, 17 assists, two game-winning goals and two defensive saves in her career. To finish out her senior season, Dunn was selected to participate in the 2019 NFHCA Division III All-Star Game in Spooky Nook, Pennsylvania.
She would go on to play for Concordia Wisconsin women’s lacrosse team in the spring of 2020, starting in all three games before the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dunn will be getting her Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in management.
