Ben Gyuricza

Ben Gyuricza is in his 11th season as an assistant coach for the Concordia University Wisconsin men’s soccer program and his seventh year as a full-time assistant in 2025.

Since joining the coaching staff, Gyuricza has played a key role in the program’s success. During his tenure, the Falcons have captured four conference regular-season titles, including championship runs in 2017, 2020, and 2022. In just his second year on staff, CUW reached the Top 25 in the national rankings for the first time in program history during the 2016 season.

Gyuricza brings a wealth of club coaching experience, currently in his 13th year with Bavarian United. He has coached multiple boys’ youth teams at the club, leading his 2017 U15 squad to the USYS National League and guiding that same group as U16s to a State Championship, a Regional Championship, and a berth in the USYS National Tournament—the first Bavarian youth team to qualify in 40 years. The team would later re-qualify for the National League, continuing their historic run.

In recognition of his coaching success, Gyuricza was named the 2019 Wisconsin Soccer Youth Coach of the Year. He currently serves as the head coach for the Bavarian United U19 and U16 MLS Next Academy teams, competing at the highest level of youth soccer in the United States.

Gyuricza holds a USSF National A-Youth License, one of the highest certifications in American youth coaching.

As a former Falcon, Gyuricza played two seasons for CUW, including his senior year when the team reached the NACC Championship match against Dominican. He is a proud graduate of Concordia University Wisconsin.

Originally from Palatine, Illinois, he attended St. Viator High School in Arlington Heights.
