Bob Maronde will be starting his second full season with the Concordia women’s basketball program after joining the program in February of 2020.

Maronde previously was a head high school basketball coach for 25 years at Grafton High School, Cudahy High School and Sheboygan Falls High School. During that time, Bob’s teams won 417 games, seven Conference Championships, 12 Regional Championships, six Sectional Championships, one WIAA State Runner-up and two WIAA State Championships.

Maronde was a Wisconsin Basketball Coaches All-Star Game head coach, 2009 Associated Press High School Girl’s Basketball Coach Of the Year and 2017 Milwaukee Journal Sentinel High School Girl’s Basketball Coach of the Year.

Maronde graduated from U.W. Oshkosh with a BME degree. He has taught instrumental, choral and general music along with performing on guitar, banjo, mandolin, trumpet, digital saxophone and bagpipes.

In 2019 Maronde was inducted into the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame.
