After dropping a pair of tight contests at Concordia-Moorhead,
the Falcon women did not have sufficient energy left for their
match with St. Olaf Sunday.
The hosts jumped to a 3-0 first period lead and had a 5-0
cushion before Samantha Meuwissen finally got CUW on the board late
in the second period. Jamie Athens had the other Falcon score off
a thrid period Meuwissen assist.
Jim Ingman's Falcons fell to 5-8-2 with a third consecutive loss
while St. Olaf improved to 8-5-0.
Finlandia comes to town this Friday night for the first game of
a weekend series. Action begins at 7:00pm at the Ozaukee Ice
Center.
