CUW edges Finlandia 2-1

Concordia (6-8-2) controlled the action with a 34-23 shots on goal advantage but needed to come back from a 1-0 deficit to edge Finlandia tonight at the Ozaukee Ice Center.

Alyssa Isaackson got a second period tally to bring the Falcons back to even before Alexandria Barton scored the game winner midway thru the final period.

"We got excellent play from our four freshmen defensively," said Jim Ingman. "Now we need to sustain the momentum and get a W tomorrow."
