Jim Ingman's team started the New Year off with a bang, getting
goals from Hilary Christiansen, Sarah Luberda, and Alisha Java in
the first 23 minutes of action against visiting Hamline to take
what appeared to be a commanding 3-0 lead.
That was the end of the revelry, however, as Hamline came back to
score the final three tallies of the contest, earning a 3-3 tie in
the process.
A pair of late second period goals by Hamline's Alli Miller and
Billye Nelson respectively cut the deficit to one before Miller got
the equalizer with just one minute remaining in the game.
Hamline (3-7-2) dominated the overtime, outshooting Concordia 5-0
but CUW (4-5-3) held on for the stalemate. The same teams meet
again today at 2pm.
