Stacey Brunner's cagers won their seventh straight game and
improved to 11-1 in the NAC with a 57- 40 win over Concordia-
Chicago Friday evening in round one of the CIT.
As has been the case in each game during the latest winning
streak, the Falcons parlayed solid defense with a balanced scoring
attack.
Freshman Tiffany Hendrickson led the way offensively with 12
points and senior Pearl Wallace pulled down a dozen rebounds.
The locals forced the Cougars into 20 turnovers and held All
American Marche Smith to 12 points.
Concordia- Chicago (8-9) will play Ann Arbor at noon today
(Saturday) in the consolation round of the CIT while the Falcons
(12-6 overall) host Concordia-Seward at 5:00pm for the
championship.
