Concordia spirits soared when CUW's Mark Henke got the first goal of the match two minutes into the second period. Before the cheering had died down, unfortunately, Marian's Dakota Dubetz had tied the game 1-1 just :30 later.

The Sabres got what proved to be the game-winner before that period ended and added two more third session scores to create a 4-1 final.

Marian is now 9-5-0 and 6-3-0 in league play while CUW drops to 1-13-0 on the season.
