Trailing 2-0 after two periods, Concordia came back to tie host
St. Norbert last evening at the Resch Olympic Pavillion in Green
Bay.
The hosts scored once in each of the first two sessions,
outshooting the Falcons 24-15 in the process.
Jim Ingman's team came back on scores by Muriel McIntyre at 6:55
and Alisha Java at 15:39 of the final period to earn the tie.
"I was really proud of how we battled back," said Ingman. "Our
defense picked up in the third period and our penalty killing and
forechecking were relentless down the stretch."
CUW outshot the Green Knights 13-7 in the final twenty minutes
of regulation. "This was a good team effort in adverse conditions
playing on a wide rink that was very warm," concluded Ingman.
