CUW's Sara Cole and Alyssa Isaackson scored on power plays within a minute of each toward the end of the first period and Concordia never lost that lead in the process of improving to 3-3-1 in conference play with a 3-2 win over visiting St. Norbert.

After a scoreless second session, the Green Knights got on the board at 10:57 of the final period via a power play tally before Samantha Meuwisssen scored what proved to be the game-winner for the Falcons at 12:40.

The visitors (4-6-1 overall) would not quit and made it interesting with a final score at 18:28 but CUW held on.

"It was nice to jump out ahead," said Coach Jim Ingman. "Our seniors are stepping up and we are improving as a team each time out."
