Concordia got to play #9 Adrian on the University of Michigan Football field Saturday morning in front of 1470 fans. The historic event was the first-ever D3 outdoor matchup and Tony Hrkac's skaters (1-12-0) gave a strong account of themselves.

The Falcons fell behind 2-0 in the first period against a veteran Adrian team, however, and eventually went down to a 3-0 defeat.

CUW battled to the finish statistically against the Nation's 9th ranked squad (outshot just 34-30) but Adrian goalie Brad Fogal was spectacular once again, turning away every Concordia effort.
