Behind two goals and one assist from Alyssa Isaackson, the
Falcons improved to .500 (7-7-1 overall) with a 5-1 victory over
Finlandia.
Steph Boehm put the Falcons in front 1-0 midway through the
first period, before the Lions tied the game with a second period
power play goal.
Just 2:44 into the third, Isaackson recorded what would turn out
to be the game-winning goal off assists from Hilary Christensen
(her second of the game) and Carley Piras. Concordia erupted for
four third period goals and outshot the visitors 12-0 in the final
20 minutes (and 27-4 overall for the game).
The Falcons and Lions will wrap-up their weekend series with a
2pm faceoff on Saturday from the Ozaukee Ice Center.
